I checked out the article and after 40 years in engineering I recognize a nothing burger. I saw no data on any actual tests. Vertical wind turbines would be smarter, simpler, easier, cheaper to deploy and generate a lot more power and could blanket high rise rooftops all over major cities. But they aren't, why? Cost/Benefit isn't there and the cost/benefit for these skybrators I would bet is worse.
