Honestly I don't know. The whole monachy thing is quite silly, the "born into wealth and service". And they aren't the brightest bulbs are they? I am a 1st Gen American, my parents are Ulster Scots and technically I am a British citizen. My mother had Charles / Diane and Elizabeth teacups, my father had mugs of the heads of Kings, I've always thought that was a political statement on Dad's part, my mother hated them looking at her while she watched the telly.

Andrew is a disgrace who can't even toast an english muffin, Charles has his shoelaces ironed every morning and has clearly demonstrated he should NOT weigh in on issues. Harry, well the final chapter has yet to be written on Harry, he was born into it, he didn't ask for it. And that's the whole point, they aren't a meritocracy, and it shows. "But, they bring in loads of tourist money", yeah they do, but its a quaint view of something that never existed. The fact they are really Germans is a riot. William is actually the most english of the lot of them, thanks to his mothers line back to the Stuarts. Elizabeth is very popular and I think William will be also, his family is picture perfect and William just may be the brightest of them all.

To me, it depends how much damage Charles does.

To quote my Dad, "its all rather silly, isn't it". And quite possibly that is most damning of all, its silly.
