Don't diss the Cowsills. In Connecticut we had our own version of Dick Clark's Bandstand. Hosted by CT's own Brad Davis. Brad just died at like the age of 90. The Cowsills being a Rhode Island band made the trip frequently to Hartford for the show. They were very wholesome. They had a gold record and their own comic book series. One of them tours with the Beach Boys currently. 3 are still active. Hey they even have their own wikipedia page.
