Basic physics says this is a non-starter. Why? The amount of energy extracted is proportional to the surface area exposed to the wind. This device has a very small exposed surface. And there are other issues, like when it changes directions because of it's amazing vibrating, those are dead zones with no energy extracted. Really over all an amazingly stupid idea. But what the heck, it's good for a decade of study with green energy grants.
